Began his career as a formulation chemist in R&D creating new agribusiness chemistry solutions as well as hard surface antimicrobials. Moved on to consulting Fortune 500 companies on sanitation programs, operational savings, quality troubleshooting, and production efficiency.

James has a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Nebraska. He is a member of the International Association of Food Protection and Project Management Institute.
