Chris will discuss recovering and recycling CO2 from in-plant and other available sources and how it relates to financing available, as discussed in part one.

Christopher is the Managing Director of BioCarbonics Limited, a UK supplier of liquid CO2 from renewable energy sources, and the Founding Director of Carbonic Solutions BV, a boutique consulting firm focused on the development of CO2 sources and markets. Most of his work over the past few years has been focused on the start-up of new supply chains for liquid CO2 from alternative sources such as biogas/biomethane.

Christopher spent the first 5 years of his career in the Oil & Gas Industry working as a Petroleum Engineer in the late 1980’s. After returning to school to receive his MBA, Christopher moved to Europe to take on a business development role with a Dutch Packaging Company, and later returned to North America to run their Canadian business. In 2001, Christopher joined The BOC Group as a Director of Business Development, and from 2001 to 2004 served as General Manager for a small CO2 technology start-up. He then moved to the UK to focus on the development and acquisition of sustainable energy projects for BOC globally. During this time, Christopher was heavily involved in projects and technology related to biogas utilization, anaerobic digestion, alternative fuels, fuel cells and landfill gas. From 2008 to 2015, Christopher led the development of new CO2 sources in EMEA for The Linde Group, and left in 2015 to start his own business, Carbonic Solutions BV.

Christopher holds a degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University, and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
