Chad Ellis is the CEO at Texas Agricultural Land Trust and 2023/2024 chair of the US Roundtable for Sustainable Beef. Chad grew up on his family’s ranch in Lohn, Texas and has extensive family ties to agriculture. Chad holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Resource Management and Master's Degree in Animal Science, emphasis on range management, from Angelo State University. Chad has held positions with USDA’s Natural Resource Conservation Service, Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation in Oklahoma, and the Noble Research Institute, prior to his current role at Texas Agricultural Land and Trust.
