Dr. Kari Spivey is a member of the Corporate Quality Assurance team for JBS USA Pork. She is responsible for the oversight of HACCP, Sanitation, Laboratory, and Food Safety programs within the JBS Pork facilities. This includes standardization of laboratory practices, regulatory support, and implementation of sanitation program monitoring. Kari has served as the Bacon Product Manager, Livestock Analyst, and most recently FSQA Manager during her tenure with the company. Kari earned a Bachelors and Masters of Science from West Texas A&M University in Canyon, TX as well as a Doctorate of Philosophy in Animal Science from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. She currently resides in Agency, IA with her husband Reid and twin boys Haze and Zayd.
