Pandemic Compliance:

At the North American Meat Institute, we look forward to getting back to in-person events. Over the past fourteen months, NAMI has been closely monitoring guidance from state and federal health authorities regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Protecting the health and safety of our attendees, staff and stakeholders has always been will continue to be of utmost importance. 

What to Expect Onsite / Code of Conduct:

This year’s event will need to be different as we all work together to end this pandemic. We are regularly reviewing the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s and Occupational Safety and Health Administration's updated recommendations on hosting large gatherings and workplace safety to ensure we are doing all that we can to provide a safe meeting environment.

The NAMI staff will be working closely with the hotel to provide a safe and clean environment to hold the event. We are all in this together and that will require that we all agree to abide by a code of conduct.  As stakeholders, we all have a role to play in the mitigation of COVID-19 risks. If we can collectively adhere to the code of conduct, we are showing a sign of respect to our fellow industry colleagues and advocating for the well-being of our fellow global citizens.  Please click here to view the Code of Conduct that you will need to agree to at the time of registration. We have partnered with the Westin Kansas City at Crown Center. The safety of guests and our associates is, and always has been, our primary concern.
