Katie Stack graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science for both Agriculture Business and Animal Industry Management. After graduating, she worked in operations with Hormel Foods before transitioning as the Animal Welfare Manager in Fremont, Nebraska. She continued in this role during start up for Wholestone Farms. In 2020, Katie began working in hog procurement and is now the Hog Procurement Manager. She is PAACO certified for Meat Plant Auditing, TQA and PQA+ advisor, and participates in the NAMI Animal Welfare Committee. She currently involved in the US SHIP traceability task force and the Nebraska Pork Producers Association Board of Directors as an Alternate Industry Representative.
