Karly Anderson is a PhD student and Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Animal Science at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. She is also an Affiliate of the Animal Welfare Lab at the University of Wisconsin – River Falls. Karly completed her BS in Animal Science from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls and her MS in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota. Karly’s research focuses on captive bolt euthanasia for mature swine and cattle. Additionally, Karly has led research assessing Humane Handling Enforcement Actions issued by FSIS since 2019.
