Dr. Wade Fluckey is the Head of Clemens Food Group (CFG) technical services department where he provides oversight, direction and vision for food safety, quality, research, development, commercialization and animal care and compliance. Prior to CFG Wade held positions as Sr. Director of Food Safety Quality and Science Services at Perdue Foods, Regional Manager of Food Safety and Quality for Smithfield Foods and Food Safety Manager at Premium Standard Farms. Wade graduated from the University of Nebraska Lincoln with a Master’s degree in animal and food sciences and went on to get his Ph.D. from the University of Texas Tech, in Lubbock Texas. Wade has been a very active member of various scientific committees and advisory panels with multiple industry groups including National Pork Producers Council, National Pork Board, National Chicken Council, North American Meat Institute and National Turkey Federation. Recently as part of the Senior Leadership at Clemens Wade took on an active role of leading the Sustainability strategy for CFG.
