Chris Duncan is the Director of Continuous Improvement and Engineering for Land O’ Frost, where he is responsible for delivering cost savings initiatives through enhancements related to process, package, and people. He and his team focus on improvements both through engineering advancements as well as lean manufacturing principles. Chris joined Land O’ Frost over 5 years ago as Process Optimization Manager and led initiatives such as establishing a corporate Continuous Improvement program as well as introducing several process improvements aimed at driving more effective and efficient processes. Over the last several years, he has spearheaded the implementation of various automated projects. Prior to Land O’ Frost, Chris began his career at ConAgra Foods where he focused on product and process development in both meat and bakery.

Chris holds a Doctor of Philosophy from Texas A&M University in Food Science and Technology and a Bachelor’s of Science from University of Florida in Food Science. He is passionate about utilizing technology and data to improve food manufacturing processes through advancements in safety, food safety, quality, and operational capabilties.
