Irene Lopez Gutierrez is a Chemical Engineer graduated from the Monterrey Tech Institute with major interest in the efficient and sustainable use of energetic resources, she is a Certified Energy Manager by the International Association of Energy Engineers and has participated in different programs such as the Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies Course by the Center of Professional Development of Stanford. 
She is now leading the decarbonization strategy for Scope 1& 2 across all Sigma Alimentos operations and has become member of the Energy Commission of the Chamber for Industry Transformation of Nuevo Leon with the objective of building strategic alliances to promote sustainable practices, strength the company course of action and have sensibility on the impacts of regulations.
