In this capacity, I lead, train, and develop a team of 60 employees in HR, training, organizational development, benefits, safety, environmental & health services to support the achievement of performance targets and goals. I oversee the responsibility for managing a full spectrum of HR operations, such as benefits administration, staff training and development, succession planning, employee recruitment and retention. I develop and implement a comprehensive employee recognition program as well as administer the Company’s Ethics and Compliance hotline. I design benefit program in compliance with Affordable Care Act. I implement solutions in collaboration with senior leadership and managers to achieve performance excellence. Following are the highlights of the value I brought to Boar’s Head Provisions Co., Inc.: Earned recognition and praise form senior management and stakeholders for successfully starting an on-site health & wellness center at a rural location that is saving over $500k/year after 2 years. Optimally utilized communication and negotiation skills to avoid union organization of non-union facilities during four organizing campaigns. Orchestrated and implemented robust cost reduction and avoidance strategies; saved over $1m in costs from employee health plan by auditing family members.
