Andrew J. Sommer is managing partner of Conn Maciel Carey LLP’s California practice. He advises employers on a wide range of OSHA-related issues, and defends employers in administrative proceedings, arbitration and litigation.
Andrew represents businesses in inspections, investigations, and enforcement actions involving Cal/OSHA. He also assists clients in developing safety programs and leads employer coalitions in advocating over Cal/OSHA workplace safety rulemaking.
In addition to his OSHA practice, Andrew represents employers in individual and collective actions at both the federal and state level, including matters related to whistleblowing, disability discrimination, and wage and hour claims.
