Partner, Labor and Employment
John is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Labor and Employment Law, and focuses his practice on representing employers of all sizes in matters involving wrongful terminations, union organizing, unfair labor practice charges, discrimination and harassment claims, and issues involving the ADA, FMLA, and wage and hour compliance. He also represents clients in defending claims before administrative agencies, including the Department of Labor, the EEOC, the NLRB, and OSHA. In addition to having considerable experience litigating employment matters in state and federal courts throughout the United States, John provides clients with preventative day-to-day counseling on avoiding lawsuits, including client-tailored training programs on topics such as legal interviewing, harassment, discrimination, and union awareness. John is a frequent speaker on labor and employment issues before local and national trade associations.
