Caitlin Hamstra (she/her) is the Corporate Learning and Development Specialist at Birchwood Foods. Before moving to the private sector, she worked in international education in secondary and higher education as an instructor and administrator. Her research and professional interests include non-native English speakers, adult learners, and curricular development. Caitlin earned a Ph.D. from Central Michigan University in Educational Leadership with a focus in Higher Education. Her dissertation investigated the training and support that non-native English-speaking international teaching assistants in STEM receive as they become experts in their field.
